re: Susan Rice - Just wondered what your thoughts are in regards to the Susan Rice leaks and the Neptune transit - tied to the Scorpio Rising Chart? Does it show any information regarding how many people will be revealed and attached to this crime?
I know you are not a fan of Pres. Trump (red herrings comment regarding voter fraud – I live in CA, I beg to differ, Russian connection, nothing has been tied to him – 3 different investigations many months later and the imperial leadership comment – less than (1) year in office). We don’t have to agree politically. I can respect constructive differences of opinion. I look forward to reading your articles and your analysis is always informative.
re: Trump - When commentators call him the "Mad King", it's so astrologically astute--even though they're oblivious to that. He is so simply manifesting his chart in so many ways. He 's like a beginner's class for aspiring astrology students.

re: chart links - My chart has 5 planets conjunct the U.S.'s natal planets and recently I looked at Trump's chart. His progressed Saturn at the MD at 2 degrees Leo is conjunct my natal Mars/Pluto midpoint. Is this an issue?Thank you for a great column!
A. Trump's tenure might feel oppressive at some level, otherwise, it's not an issue unless you actually work for him. Millions of Americans have links to Trump's chart.
re: Trump's Solar Return - Jupiter on his Asc could ensure that he overdoes it--and by "it", I mean "everything". This makes me think about his need for BIG. He exaggerates incessantly. Everything's "HUGE". So his "bigness" is something about which he feels inadequate. Anyway, now this huge bigness exaggeration thing takes center stage. I don't think that it necessarily will be a good thing. He needs a year with Solar Return Saturn on his Asc to small him down some.

re: astro-event #1 - You wrote that the "Best days for romantic outings and adventures are on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th to 10th, 18th, 19th, 23rd and 24th." My niece's art show takes place on June 22nd and 23rd. It sounds like this aspect may help her. But when you say "romantic encounters and adventures", do you mean that adventures in general will be romantic (because more people are involved in relationships than in art)?
A. This is a Venus indicator. I said romantic, but it surely could be about art. Most definitely.
re: Trump supporters - I enjoy your analysis but I am dumbstruck that you continue to publish "queries" from Trump supporters armed with the alternative fact narrative. Giving them a platform is ridiculous and takes away from your credibility. The latest is the query regarding the "crimes" of Susan Rice. First, incidental collection of Americans during a counter intelligence investigation is the norm. And it is the prerogative of the NSA, the CIA and the FBI to unmask the names of the Americans as they see fit. There is no crime. Has there be a trial? Unless there has, why are you printing spin and misinformation?
Similar to the "crimes" of Hillary Clinton. Was there a trial that we missed? It is right wing propaganda that you continually to give air time to and it is getting old. How about just be neutral? And do not give a platform to bs.

We all assess what's happening through our political, religious, and culture filters. I try and be as objective as possible in the actual articles. Readers' opinions in this feedback section are their own, not mine.
re: Otto Warmbier - Any insights into Otto Warmbier’s horoscope as it relates to the USA and North Korea? His story has got to be one of the most obscure and heartbreaking I’ve heard, it made me weep for him. His death conjured an emotional reaction in me that caught me by surprise. I want his death to be avenged swiftly, severely, and unequivocally. It’s so unlike me to feel that especially in reference to such a wildcard country like North Korea, but it’s incomprehensible what that boy must have gone through.
re: Otto Warmbier - Even I who try to isolate myself from all pain was moved by the coma Otto Warmbier was brought back in. This was very tragic. And it hurt one's heart. That young man returned to his family like that for something so small. Very vicious what was done to him and totally unnecessary.
re: health care - Can you give insight into whether it will become law? The irony is that his political base are the folks who will be financially & medically devastated by its passage. Are the Republican congressmen & senators aware of the consequences for themselves at the ballot box? A. Yes, that sounds right. Notice how the plan was developed in secret, which is in accord with the Balsamic Moon phase, the Dark Moon. It doesn't bode well...

re: the Queen - Will the Queen stop being the Queen? If Regulus applies to anyone on the entire planet, wouldn't the Solar Eclipse to it affect an actual queen of all people? You talked about "royals"--actual and otherwise. That's what got me wondering. She is right up there at the top of the list of "royals".

re: Brexit - I love reading Newscope every Monday but I have waited so long for an article on Brexit and I don't remember seeing it. We Europeans living in UK are very worried about the UK deal falling short of meeting the EU deal. Please can you do a detailed article on what's to come from now until official Brexit March 2019?
A. That's a good story idea. It's great to take a break from the melodramatic Trump presidency.

I've always read that the South Node shows you where you've been (and so, you feel very comfortable and familiar there), and the North Node shows you where you need to be going--THAT is your destiny.
A. Mercury is a weight on his past, showing talents as well as problem areas. His North Node is ruled by the Moon, which is in Libra and squares his Mercury. He'll regret losing his wife because equitable partnership is his higher destiny, but the ambitious Mercury in Capricorn is overwhelming.
re: Jane Austin - Thank you so much for such varied and interesting content. Especially the Jane Austen bio. I have always resented her kow-towing attitude towards men, now I know she was a victim of her time.
re: Eclipses - Does an eclipse really make huge chnges when closely touching someone's chart?
A. Yes the eclipse can make for dramatic developments... generally related to the planet and the house being activated. A well aspected planet can bring windfalls, and otherwise not such favorable tidings. Even mainstream media is talking aobut what astrolgoers are predicting. re: Uranus-Neptune - Will you ever cover the flat earth movement? According to independent research the Earth seems to be flat like the Ancients said. The heliocentric model is just a model and unproven. Try "flat earth" on google and see for yourself. It's disturbing. I believe it's the Uranus Neptune Cycle developing with the added notion that Neptune is in Pisces, so we are sensible to deceptions and frauds. Also something regarding religions and science and the clashing of the two, while accepted science has become a religion and unscientific.
re: Eclipses - What are your thoughts on solar eclipse? i see Mars triggers it 9/3. I am concerned. I read an article about Hawaii preparing for possible nuclear attack by North Korea. Also saw their latest ballistic missile launch is able to reach west USA and maybe further. Is this simply fear mongering or is this a justifiable concern!?!
A. I've written many times about the potential military conflict with North Korea - check recent archives. It is a matter of concern... Trump's besieged, and he may use a conflict with North Korea to distract from the FBI investigation into his Russian connections. Or, another way to see it is that Kim Jong Il is insane and needs to be reigned in, and Trump is the one who could do it....
re: Trump - Some reporters on CNN say that their inside contacts talk about how Trump is really panicking now about the investigation because it's looking at his personal finances.
You've said that the last time his Progressed Moon moved through his 12th house, the casino thing happened--essentially, his financial house of cards collapsed. Is it safe to conclude that this is where it appears to be heading? It's disturbing and fascinating all at the same time.
A. Now that Mueller has impaneled a grand Jury, trump's taxes will be inspected. The announcement came as transiting Sun and Mars were right on Trump's 12th house Pluto, which suggests the evidence they are tracking. Pluto here may be associated with illegal racketeering, ie., getting funding from foreign or illegal sources. It should get clearer when Trump's progressed Moon arrives at his natal Pluto in January 2018.

re: the Mooch - Wow! We both saw the same thing--Scaramucci not lasting that long. I had commented about it to my husband 2 days before he was fired. BUT, I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ONLY 11 DAYS!!! I had thought/guessed around 6 months.
A. Scaramucci's potty mouth got him in trouble, reflecting the downside of Mercury conjunct his South Node.
re: women in tech - I hope you will deal with the Google engineer being fired for his screed on how women aren't suited for leadership or tech jobs. I noticed that Google fired him on the lunar eclipse day. I had read that one of the things that eclipses do is to bring hidden things to light.
It's certainly true that tech is a place for men who believe in the supremacy of men. It has not helped that tech has a collection of white men dug into this belief, but also men from other cultures who think it is an insult to report to a female manager or believe women can lead, although they may be okay to be around to do clean up work.
The Google engineer that got fired went to Harvard, and it also came to light that his professors had to write a public apology for him when he did a skit in class that implied that great male scientist only rely on women to give them sex as they work their way to greatness. A lot of news outlets didn't report that find.
Anyhow, eclipses bringing the dark side to light, here we have a woman-hater who has a history of stunts, and a president who supports Nazis and white terrorists who come out into the light as if it's "both sides" in fairness.
A. Another way to look at this is about the current Lilith-Saturn conjunction, as I wrote in August's astro-event #5: "Patriarchal worldviews clash with the rising Goddess energy."

Activating the Solar Eclipse
Trump’s chief of staff, General John F. Kelly, persuaded the president to issue a more definitive denouncement of white supremacist groups last Monday, following his controversial “I think there is blame on both sides” statement two days earlier. Yet the irrepressible Trump returned to his “both sides” rhetoric again over the following days, leading to innumerable defections from CEOs, fellow Republicans, and White House staff.

The Solar Eclipse landing right on Trump’s Mars and Ascendant in Leo is having the remarkable influence that many astrologers have foreseen for Trump, namely, the rapid deterioration of his presidency. Still, Trump remains defiant, buoyed by his Mars Return (exact August 31) as he tweets and speaks directly to his base while aggravating mainstream news coverage. The Eclipse event in itself was fascinating, but its electric potential may be released over the next two weeks.
That’s when transiting Mercury and Mars pass over 28º52’ Leo, the Solar Eclipse point. Generally, a Mars transit is the most potent activator of concentrated Eclipse energy, especially when the triggering aspect is a conjunction, like this one. That astro-event takes place on September 3, and is most effective from August 31 to September 3. The pattern so far is leading to more clashes between hate groups and their protestors, and an outpouring of anti-Trump sentiment.
Over-lapping this Mars astro-event is Mercury’s conjunction to this vital Eclipse point. Mercury turns direct on September 5 at 28º25’ Leo, and will be within one degree of the Solar Eclipse from August 31 through September 9. The combination of Mercury and Mars simultaneously triggering the Solar Eclipse makes this phase filled with intensely angry, confrontational (Mars) statements, opinions and declarations (Mercury). And much of the action centers on Trump, and what to do about him.
The 2024 Solar Eclipse
Solar Eclipses aren’t particularly rare, since we generally get two or three each year. But the last major Solar Eclipse with its path of total darkness over the continental U.S. was in 1979, and that was only visible in the Pacific Northwest. Mt. St. Helens blew one year later, so it’s noteworthy that the August 21, 2017 eclipse passes over some geologically sensitive areas.
The Porsche 917K that McQueen drove in Le Mans is going up for auction and is expected to sell for around $15 million.* With the Solar Eclipse taking place on McQueen’s Neptune, it may fetch much more. McQueen’s chart is currently showing a progressed Sun-Jupiter conjunction being activated by transiting Uranus, a very success-oriented combination. The natal horoscope lives on past its owner’s death, and we may expect to see a revival in McQueen’s films.

Steve McQueen was born with his Aries Sun conjunct Uranus (March 24, 1930; 12:15 pm; Indianapolis, IN), with both squaring Saturn in Capricorn. McQueen tended to play out the Uranian side of this equation, becoming notoriously difficult to deal with on the movie set. But with his Sun and Aquarius Moon forming a Yod with Neptune in his 2nd house, he eventually became the highest paid actor in Hollywood.
In 1971, at the height of his career, he filmed what is now called a cult classic, Le Mans. Having seriously considered a career as a professional racecar driver himself, his passion comes across clearly in what is now seen as an historically accurate depiction of that era. And what did McQueen do with all the money he was making? He bought exotic sports cars and classic motorcycles, all worth uncertain (Neptunian) value except to the collector.

If the 2nd house refers to one’s personal finances, how does this work out in practice if it’s tenanted by Neptune, the most ethereal, non-material archetype known to astrologers? The 2nd house’s conditions show how one can make money, so for many, Neptunian affairs are the route to prosperity. After a tumultuous youth, Steve McQueen turned to cinematic adventures, which is ruled by Neptune.
Using time lapse photography, the 2017 and 2024 eclipse paths make a giant cross, with their intersection in Southern Illinois, right in the American heartland. Metaphorically, these eclipse paths indicate that the U.S. is at a crossroads in its evolution over the next seven years. The 2024 eclipse indicates that a great healing process may be at hand. Another possibility is that some kind of historic military adventure is underway, the nature of which we can only speculate about from here.
The next Solar Eclipse to darken a portion of the continental U.S. takes place on April 8, 2024 (2:21 pm, EDT). The horoscope for this major astro-event has a number of unusual, dramatic configurations, not the least of which is the Sun and Moon at 19º Aries precisely conjunct Chiron, the “Wounded Healer”. The Chiron theme is emphasized since the U.S. natal Chiron is located at 20º Aries, and in the 6th house of military affairs and health-related issues.
Most intriguingly, Pluto is at 1º Aquarius, with the U.S. having just completed its first Pluto Return a few months earlier. The historically lengthy economic boom that the U.S. has experienced up to the 2017 Solar Eclipse – largely fostered by the U.S. progressed Saturn trine natal Venus – will be in the past. And the fundamental structure of the world’s largest military and economic superpower will have gone through some kind of Plutonian transformation.
