re: Saturn-Neptune - As you pointed out in your (5) astrological events for November 2015, the Saturn/Neptune square on 11/26/2015 is prominent. You showed in the European Union chart that natal Neptune is being squared by transiting Uranus. I would like to point out that transiting Neptune in the Scorpio Rising USA chart is also squaring natal Uranus in the 8th house.
So Uranus in the US chart has Neptune square to it while Neptune in the EU chart has a Uranus square in effect now. While Saturn afflicts both. Coincidence? I think all this shows the difficulty of maintaining our free Internet(Uranus) while Neptune is showing the downside of a border-free world.
I very much hope that all this is the "irritant" that produces the "pearl" of gained wisdom as you so aptly state in your Newscope article. Sadly, I just do not know if the pearl is wishful thinking or what. People of good will know what this future world might look like but the way there is not at all clear.

re: EU - The last few days have shown a willingness to fight back against the terrorists that certainly does not reflect any "stunned paralysis" in the European Union. France and Russia are now cooperating in air strikes against ISIS in Syria and if the US would get off its duff maybe, just maybe some real progress could be made in defeating these monsters called ISIS. On another note even the hacking group Anonymous has finally realized ISIS is a greater threat than any western government to their vaunted freedom of ideas. All this to say, I do not think your interpretation of the EU chart is telling the real story
A. French president Hollande attempted to get the U.S. and Russia on the same page, but the two external powers do not agree on the fate of Syrian president Assad. But perhaps "stunned paralysis" is not the right interpretation of the progressed Midheaven to the EU's Mars-Pluto square Saturn. The Saturn-Pluto combination is known for its intense nationalism and conservative or tightening policies. Individually, the EU nations are closing their borders and ratcheting up security measures, which is in accord with the activation of the EU's Mars-Pluto conjunction in Scorpio. But it doesn't bode well for the EU as a larger geopolitical entity, which we might say is in a state of paralysis.
re: NewsScope - Around 3 years ago I was having problems with saving your NewsScope web pages and subsequently opening them in readable form in one of my three web browsers. I made no progress with having you getting Homestead to fix this.
On a whim I tried doing it again several days ago. I now can open most of your NewsScope issues with either no or very few rendering issues. I can also easily save the pages as PDF files in Opera. This makes using your articles for research very easy.
I have gone back and made PDF files for all of 2009 and 2010. Unfortunately the link for July 11, 2011 is incorrect. I get the NewsScope for November 7, 2011, Jon Corzine Resigns. If you could correct this I would appreciate it. I will wait to see if you can do it so I can keep my files in chronological order.
A. The software used to build NeptuneCafe's pages was originally designed to be pc-compatible. Those using apple products had some rendering issues, until the host (Homestead) moved the site designer platform into the cloud. It made pages viewable in both pc and apple products. The problem is that due to the hundreds of pages in NeptuneCafe, webpage designing takes much longer to do, and some mis-labling issues may crop up. If the July 11, 2011 page is the only one that got lost since 2009, then that's a decent track record. Readers who want a copy of the July 11, 2011 issue can get an emailed copy upon request.
re: NewsScope - I honestly think you are so incredibly gifted in the astrological world. I love trying to learn from what you write. I wish I had your ability. I've got more knowledge than most people who just dabble, but a Vulcan mind meld would be amazing to have the understanding.......
re: Trump - When will he be gone? I was watching a biography of him last night. Mostly I was rolling my eyes and sighing. What the hell IS that? He so rubs me the wrong way. He is so horribly FULL of himself. That's Mars in Leo, isn't it?
A. Mars in Leo is found in more presidents charts - by far - than any other placement. It shows leadership, decisive opinions, and confidence. Trump's ego is inflated through Jupiter's placement, plus currently his progressed Sun near his Leo Ascendant, which conjoins the royal star Regulus. Most likely, he will be on the national scene through the campaign season since this progressed Sun is still 1/2 degree away from this important conjunction.
re: Zuckerberg rectification - Wow. Really, wow. Do you use any software to aid rectification?
A. I use SolarFire for my calculations, but none that suggest any birth times, such as Jigsaw.
re: Insane Violence - Thank you for the warnings for what's up ahead re: The Insane Violence Configuration --- and for the December 2015 report. Like many, I'm glad to be aware of when the more stressful days might be during the "holiday" season & when to be more mindful of when my own stress is in danger of blowing off too much steam, or when family gatherings might be a bit more testy...yes---a good time of year to remember the peace, love and joy inspirations...

re: Rubio's birth time - In 2010, I asked Marco about his birthtime during a campaign event. He told me he didn't know, and to ask his older brother, Mario, since he drove his Mother to the hospital. Mario told me it was around 3:30p to 4:00p in the afternoon. This would give Marco a Leo Moon. I realize this is anecdotal, but if you were to attempt rectification, this might be a good place to start.

re: Brazil - Wow, it looks like some dangerous stuff could happen in Brazil this summer. Violence, terrorism? Maybe the gathering of people at the Olympics could cause that virus to spread around the world? It sounds like the effects of the virus are usually not that bad though, except what it could do to babies, which is really sad.

re: Sanders - I saw a birth time for Bernie as 12:27 pm and calculated his MC- He looks to be the presidential winner in 2016! I would love to know your thoughts about this because Sanders seems to be the only candidate with real integrity and I want to vote for him in the elections. A. As far as I know, there's no known birth time for Bernie. So a 12:27 pm time would be speculative unless it's from a reliable source. I've suggested a rectified time of 6:22 pm. We can't really know for sure until we get a look at his birth certificate.
re: Hillary - do you see anything inparticular with Hillary's chart(s) now that they are talking more and more about an indictment. What planets, transits, etc would indicate that? I know you wrote about the Mars 12th house self-undoing, but this points to illegal activity, lies, coverups etc. Would like to know what you look for or what would give insight?

A. This is a complex question, and there's no easy or short answer. Generally though it involves Neptune, and Neptune is all over Hilary's chart. However, Neptune is also associated with idealism, so depending on your political bias, it can be read either way. Major indictment's should involve major afflictions to the Midheaven, the ruler of the Midheaven or the progressed Midheaven. Without these, nothing will come of any charges.
re: Brazil - Zica is only one of Brazil Problems, its a historical time for the country. The president is super unpopular and an impeachment was open against her. There's a super economic crisis (the worst recession in 70 years) and the political system is broken due to corruption charges to politics from all parties.
The Neptune and Saturn quadrature aims several planets in natal chart. The progressed Sun+Mars on natal Pluto is a powerful combination never seen before. It seems a transformation of Brazil State, or even a military action (due to Mars). Maybe this can happen while Olympic is occurring...
Most of Brazilian astrologers use a Scorpio MC due to several military coups in Brazil history and 2 deaths from presidents (one of them killed himself while in office). The time is between 16:08 and 16:20, with Aquarius ascending.
Political system is collapsing, the population is very angry and delusional (Neptune quadrature natal Moon), a resolution might happen under those powerful transits and progressions, maybe some catalyst start from Olympic Games.
A. Thank-you for your comments from inside Brazil. I used 4:47 pm (20:47) based on Campion's Book of World Horoscopes, which gives the Sagittarius MC. However, I'm inclined to agree thatScorpio there makes more sense for the reasons you describe.
re: U.S. future - After the death of Scalia and the political chaos that has ensued, it got me to wondering: What is in store for the USA for the next few decades? Could some break-down scenario come to pass?
A. A break-down scenario is certainly possible. The U.S. has its Pluto Return coming, and the sharp oppositions between planets in the 6th and 12h houses is extremely polarizing and volatile.

Marco Rubio, the GOP’s Last Chance
Political punsters have been saying all week that it doesn’t get more exciting than this. Marco Rubio blasted Donald Trump in last Friday's GOP debate, a sudden and apparently desperate tactic now that Trump’s momentum is looking unstoppable. Also last week, GOP super-PACs have determined that Rubio is their best bet and launched a wave of attack ads against Trump. Is it too little, too late?
Thanks to a NewsScope data sleuth (see "Reader Feedback" below), we can approximate Rubio’s birth time to 3:35 pm (May 28, 1971), putting Uranus near his Libra Ascendant. Rubio’s Mars in Aquarius participates in an Air Grand Trine with his Gemini Sun, and Uranus-Ascendant in Libra. This set-up makes him loathe to get entangled in bitter fights, but last Friday transiting Mars was opposing his Saturn when he out-bullied the bully.
The prominence of Uranus in this chart (by being angular) makes its transits extra important. Rubio married on October 17, 1998 when transiting Uranus was at 8º Aquarius and trine his Libra Ascendant. He announced his candidacy for president on April 15, 2015 when transiting Uranus was at 16º Aries and exactly squaring his 10th house Juno. Simultaneously, progressed Juno was at 8º Leo, and precisely sextile his Ascendant.
Currently, Rubio’s progressed Sun is at 19º Cancer and being favorably aspected by transiting Jupiter at 19º Virgo. This fortunate aspect (from his 12th house) shows the hidden benefactors now at his disposal. However, transiting Uranus is now at 18º Aries and heading into a game-changing square to his progressed Sun. This aspect becomes exact right around the time of the Florida primary. If he can’t win there, in his home state (where Trump’s currently ahead), he’s out of the race.
The Twelfth Amendment
Several NewsScope readers have asked about the future of the U.S. over the next few years, noting that we’re heading into a Pluto Return. “Could some breakdown scenario come to pass?” asks one. A potentially self-destructive Pluto breakdown is currently in effect, since the U.S. progressed Ascendant and Pluto will soon be in opposition to each other from 29º Cancer and 29º Capricorn.
Pluto in the U.S. Scorpio Rising chart is located in the 3rd house of documents and, as the ruler of the chart, suggests a political system based on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. One possible constitutional crisis (signified by the progressed Ascendant-Pluto polarity) is based on the Twelfth Amendment, which was ratified on June 15, 1804. This constitutional amendment tells us that if no presidential candidate wins a majority, the decision goes over to the House of Representatives.
The horoscope for this dormant Amendment suddenly comes to life if no candidate receives a majority of 270 electoral votes. The Amendment’s Saturn at 27º Virgo trines the U.S. Pluto, supporting the rule by law. By secondary progression, Saturn is now at 16º Libra and being challenged by a square from transiting Pluto. This has given rise to questions about a potential constitutional crisis*. And then, Uranus in this chart is located at 12º Libra, where it activates the U.S. Sun-Saturn square.
The Twelfth Amendment has only been used once in American history, and that was in the 1824 election. At the time, transiting Uranus in Capricorn was squaring Uranus in this Amendment chart (and opposing the U.S. Sun). The Amendment’s progressed Uranus is now at 20º Libra. Over the coming months, transiting Uranus (“The Awakener”) will oppose the Amendment’s progressed Uranus. A strong third-party candidate could mean that the 2016 election gets turned over to the Republican-controlled House.
AlphaGo v. Lee Sedol
Although a computer chess program long ago defeated the world’s top professional player, no artificial intelligence has been able to beat even amateur Go players. That is, until Google’s AlphaGo program recently defeated the European Go champion 5-0. Now, the world’s top Go champion, Lee Sedol, has agreed to a five-game match against AlphaGo, with a $1-million prize going to the winner.
Lee Sedol was born with his Pisces Sun squaring a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction (March 2, 1983; South Korea; time unknown). This configuration reflects Sedol’s playing style, which is highly intuitive (Pisces) and dangerously unpredictable (Jupiter-Uranus). Most top Go players are more conservative and risk averse, but Sedol is “explosive, creative, daring, powerful, and flamboyant.” His Sun also trines Saturn, which gives him the discipline to study Go and the endurance to play long, intense matches.
Sedol’s Mars in Aries conjoins Vesta, giving him a warrior’s courage and the strength to become a champion. He became the world’s best player in March 2003 by beating the then top player Lee Changho in two world competitions. At the time, his progressed Sun had just entered Aries, and transiting Pluto at 19º Sagittarius was exactly trine his progressed Mars at 19º Aries.
The “human versus machine” match begins on March 8, which ominously coincides with a Solar Eclipse in Pisces (Sedol) opposite Jupiter in analytical Virgo (AlphaGo). Sedol’s progressed Mars is now in the last degree of Aries where it opposes his natal Pluto. This suggests that he’s in the fight of his life. When his progressed Mars enters Taurus, his best competitive games will likely be behind him. He plans on retiring and coming to the United States to teach Go.
