re: March - First let me again thank you for your weekly column. It is a Monday highlight. This week I have some additional comments regarding the March 24th March for Our Lives and the NRA chart.
Looking at the March for our Lives chart, one standout to me is the Mars-Moon opposition and a wider Mars-Saturn conjunction tying Saturn to the opposition to the Moon. Opposition aspects, as you know, indicate opposing viewpoints and opposing forces. Mars-Saturn could very well be the police. The augmented t-square, Mars & Saturn to Sun to Moon, could indicate loss of life due to police (or counter demonstration) actions.

A. Thanks for the link, and it’s something I’ve referred to in the past based on the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn with the close involvement of Ceres and Eris. This chart will be reviewed again in the near future.
re: unwitting collusion - In your story on the Mueller investigation, the unwitting comment was not in any way a likely reference to Don Jr.s meeting which was very witting! He knew exactly who he was meeting with and why. That’s been well established. It refers instead to the indictment’s statements that Trump campaign staff around the country, in other words, locals, were the ones who worked with these people and were even paid by them without realizing they were dealing with Russians. That is stated plainly in the indictment. I think we will see more upcoming about the real Trump campaign running the show that were quite wittingly working with Russians including via social media in other ways via the Rebekah Mercer firm, Cambridge Analytica.
re: Ceres - My question has to do with ceres. I recently discovered that when ceres goes retrograde it lasts for 9 months (long enough to gestate and birth an infant!) and since it's in leo it's conjuncting the very planets pluto is inconjuncting. Since many people must have pluto in leo, is this some kind of generational thing? In my life it has manifested partially as distress and death stalking my pets no matter how hard I try to protect them. Hoping for some relief in June when ceres heads into virgo.
A. Ceres is retrograde for only three months, but is in Leo for nine months. Yes, this may influence the Pluto in Leo generation, also known as the “baby-boomers”. Many will have health crises during this time, or have to manage their parents’ well-being and life passages.

re: death - I read your article on Louise Hay in Dell Astrology Magazine. It was wonderful and insightful. You mentioned her end came when transiting pluto and her progressed sun opposed her natal pluto. It seems very rarely that people live past t. pluto opposed n. pluto or 124 years approx. You answered one reader that Jupiter indicated death; the ultimate journey but Louise had no really bad jupiter transits except maybe progressed sun on the cusp of the 8th, something that can't happen in all charts. You know; what indicators relieve us of loved ones against our desire, you might say?
A. Major outer planet transits or progressions to the Sun can greatly diminish one’s vital force, but generally speaking, numerous challenging astro-events happening at once can bring death.
re: NYSE - Regarding your pop quiz about what else is going on in the NYSE chart, transiting Uranus is activating the Neptune-Saturn opposition. Also transiting Saturn is opposing natal Lilith.
A. Yes, transiting Saturn is opposing the NYSE’s Part of Fortune, which in turn is conjunct Black Moon Lilith. Transiting Uranus is nearly conjunct the elevated Saturn, which is certainly a disruptive influence. Looking at the progressed chart, we have a Fixed Grand Cross, which has provided the steady, long-term growth for the last few years. When a Fixed Grand Cross breaks, it’s like an earthquake.

I wrote a more recent piece about how an injured pro wrestler used yoga to heal himself. So I am a fan of yoga and its benefits, and will keep your article on 18 ways yoga benefits health for future reference. I would like to merge astrology with yoga in some way, but it's not so easy. I will keep looking...
re: Trump - Thanks again for showing the fascinating correlations between Trump’s astrology and his behavior. His upcoming eclipsed super full moon on January 31 ties interestingly to the date of his 2018 State of the Union Address, to be delivered only hours before on January 30. The event looks set to provide plenty of controversy, don’t you think?

re: death - Are you good at seeing death in a chart? Are Ceres-Pluto aspects part of the signature?
A. In general, that’s not something I look into. Ceres-Pluto does deal with major life transformations, which may or may not include death, but at least the grieving process is evident, along with the survival mode mind-set, or its opposite, the giving up. I've looked at a few death charts and seen some commonalities. Richard Houck's "The Astrology of Death" is a good source, but half of it is Vedic astrology. Still, he points out the prominence of Jupiter in death charts (the ultimate journey), the lunar nodes activated, and the 4th house conditions (end of the matter).
re: John Bouvier Kennedy - I was reading an article about John Bouvier Kennedy Schlossbert (Caroline Kennedy's son) and how he looks so much like John Kennedy Jr. He's very much interested in climate change and has said he 'aspires to a career in politics". Perhaps you could do a newscope article on this young man and whether his chart has 'presidential potential'.

Russia’s Nationalistic, Expansionist Agenda
Over the past month, tensions between Russia and the Western powers have increased dramatically, beginning with Russia’s alleged poisoning of their former spy. Last Friday, France and the U.K. joined U.S. military action against Assad’s chemical weapons attack, undeterred by Russia’s promise to shoot down the missiles. Russia’s national horoscope (June 12, 1990; 1:45 pm; Moscow) helps clarify where these unsettling clashes are heading.
Natally, Russia’s Mars in aggressive Aries forms an exact square to Uranus, describing the military’s propensity for getting involved in provocative, volatile situations. Currently, transiting Saturn is squaring natal Mars, testing the military’s willingness to act. And then progressed Mars at 28º Aries is being activated by transiting Uranus -- also at 28º Aries. The current crisis perfectly fits with these alignments, and verifies the accuracy of this horoscope.
In the short term, transiting Mars and Pluto are heading into a conjunction at 21º Capricorn on April 26, representing a window when military powers will be on red alert and ready to act with full force. This Mars-Pluto conjunction is particularly powerful because Pluto is turning retrograde only a few days before the conjunction. Pluto’s station often corresponds to major transition points, including incidents of natural or human-caused catastrophes.
The Mars-Pluto conjunction ties in strongly with Russia’s chart. At the moment, Russia’s progressed Midheaven and Jupiter are conjunct at 21º Cancer, perfectly signaling its nationalist, expansionist agenda. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail as this Mars-Pluto conjunction shapes up and opposes Russia’s progressed Midheaven. However, due to their retrograde cycles, transiting Saturn and Uranus remain in their explosive, dangerous degrees through January 2019.
Uranus Enters Taurus
Like any other planet, Uranus has its positive and negative sides. For those imprinted with a strong Saturn influence, Uranus can be troublesome when it comes around, while those caught in a rut welcome its urge to break away and find personal freedom. As an outer planet, Uranus may involve an individual’s connection with the larger social group, and when it changes signs, it brings a new zeitgeist into the collective.
Uranus has been in fiery Aries for the last seven years where it’s inspired new ways of thinking and acting. Uranus entering Taurus on May 15 marks a new era when this sign’s drive for security and stability get turned around. A few astrologers have predicted major financial upheaval in the stock market, while personally, many people will likely feel the potential for financial collapse. Are you ready to let go of the things you feel most attached to?
Taurus is closely associated with the Earth. The last time Uranus entered Taurus was in 1934, when Americans were subjected to an environmental disaster: the dustbowl uprooted many farmers and deepened the Great Depression. One Uranus cycle before that began in 1850, and similarly corresponded to an uprooting as adventurers and fortune seekers went West to find gold or a place of their own. The concept of ownership of slaves was questioned by abolitionists.

When transiting Uranus enters Taurus on May 15, it marks a new phase in geopolitical developments. What makes this sign change abrupt and crisis-oriented is that on May 16, transiting Mars enters Aquarius, squaring Uranus in the process. This configuration is activating Cohen’s Mars at 0º Leo, creating a powerful fixed T-square. Cohen’s progressed Juno is also at 0º Leo, representing his alliance with Trump. The stress of this transiting Mars-Uranus square puts tremendous pressure on their partnership.
Cohen was born with his Virgo Sun conjunct Vesta (August 25, 1966; Long Island, NY; time unknown), a combination that finds fulfillment through work and attention to duty, which he may see as a special mission or calling. Cohen’s Sun conjoins Trump’s Ascendant, so he naturally becomes Trump’s front-man. Cohen laid the groundwork for Trump’s 2016 campaign, and has frequently clarified or given Virgo-like details to explain what Trump meant.
As Trump’s personal lawyer and confidante, Cohen became known as Trump’s pitbull. His Mars in early Leo forms an octile to the generational Uranus-Pluto conjunction, giving his actions a fierce intensity and resourcefulness to legally dominate Trump’s enemies. Perhaps most intriguingly, his Mercury in Leo squares Neptune, resonating strongly with Trump’s own Mercury-Neptune square. Mercury-Neptune squares are notorious for bending the truth, exaggerating, and telling only half-truths.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s Pitbull
After the FBI raided Michael Cohen’s offices last week, reports emerged confirming that he made a secret trip to Prague in 2016. If true, it is the most significant development in Mueller’s investigation of Trump-Russia collusion. Cohen has denied reports from the Steele dossier that he was ever in the Czech capital or that he ever met with Konstantin Kosachev, a close Putin ally.
This time around, the attachment to land and place is similarly being threatened. A housing crisis based on growing income inequality leaves many individuals and families forced to spend over half their income on housing. The lower class and the shrinking middle class are being squeezed by historically high rent prices and subpar housing. Uranus remains in Taurus through April 2026. Many millennials are learning to live with their parents, or are packed like sardines into communal housing situations.
