re: March - First let me again thank you for your weekly column. It is a Monday highlight. This week I have some additional comments regarding the March 24th March for Our Lives and the NRA chart.
Looking at the March for our Lives chart, one standout to me is the Mars-Moon opposition and a wider Mars-Saturn conjunction tying Saturn to the opposition to the Moon. Opposition aspects, as you know, indicate opposing viewpoints and opposing forces. Mars-Saturn could very well be the police. The augmented t-square, Mars & Saturn to Sun to Moon, could indicate loss of life due to police (or counter demonstration) actions.

A. Thanks for the link, and it’s something I’ve referred to in the past based on the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn with the close involvement of Ceres and Eris. This chart will be reviewed again in the near future.
re: unwitting collusion - In your story on the Mueller investigation, the unwitting comment was not in any way a likely reference to Don Jr.s meeting which was very witting! He knew exactly who he was meeting with and why. That’s been well established. It refers instead to the indictment’s statements that Trump campaign staff around the country, in other words, locals, were the ones who worked with these people and were even paid by them without realizing they were dealing with Russians. That is stated plainly in the indictment. I think we will see more upcoming about the real Trump campaign running the show that were quite wittingly working with Russians including via social media in other ways via the Rebekah Mercer firm, Cambridge Analytica.
re: Ceres - My question has to do with ceres. I recently discovered that when ceres goes retrograde it lasts for 9 months (long enough to gestate and birth an infant!) and since it's in leo it's conjuncting the very planets pluto is inconjuncting. Since many people must have pluto in leo, is this some kind of generational thing? In my life it has manifested partially as distress and death stalking my pets no matter how hard I try to protect them. Hoping for some relief in June when ceres heads into virgo.
A. Ceres is retrograde for only three months, but is in Leo for nine months. Yes, this may influence the Pluto in Leo generation, also known as the “baby-boomers”. Many will have health crises during this time, or have to manage their parents’ well-being and life passages.

re: death - I read your article on Louise Hay in Dell Astrology Magazine. It was wonderful and insightful. You mentioned her end came when transiting pluto and her progressed sun opposed her natal pluto. It seems very rarely that people live past t. pluto opposed n. pluto or 124 years approx. You answered one reader that Jupiter indicated death; the ultimate journey but Louise had no really bad jupiter transits except maybe progressed sun on the cusp of the 8th, something that can't happen in all charts. You know; what indicators relieve us of loved ones against our desire, you might say?
A. Major outer planet transits or progressions to the Sun can greatly diminish one’s vital force, but generally speaking, numerous challenging astro-events happening at once can bring death.
re: NYSE - Regarding your pop quiz about what else is going on in the NYSE chart, transiting Uranus is activating the Neptune-Saturn opposition. Also transiting Saturn is opposing natal Lilith.
A. Yes, transiting Saturn is opposing the NYSE’s Part of Fortune, which in turn is conjunct Black Moon Lilith. Transiting Uranus is nearly conjunct the elevated Saturn, which is certainly a disruptive influence. Looking at the progressed chart, we have a Fixed Grand Cross, which has provided the steady, long-term growth for the last few years. When a Fixed Grand Cross breaks, it’s like an earthquake.

re: Trump - Thanks again for showing the fascinating correlations between Trump’s astrology and his behavior. His upcoming eclipsed super full moon on January 31 ties interestingly to the date of his 2018 State of the Union Address, to be delivered only hours before on January 30. The event looks set to provide plenty of controversy, don’t you think?

re: death - Are you good at seeing death in a chart? Are Ceres-Pluto aspects part of the signature?
A. In general, that’s not something I look into. Ceres-Pluto does deal with major life transformations, which may or may not include death, but at least the grieving process is evident, along with the survival mode mind-set, or its opposite, the giving up. I've looked at a few death charts and seen some commonalities. Richard Houck's "The Astrology of Death" is a good source, but half of it is Vedic astrology. Still, he points out the prominence of Jupiter in death charts (the ultimate journey), the lunar nodes activated, and the 4th house conditions (end of the matter).
re: John Bouvier Kennedy - I was reading an article about John Bouvier Kennedy Schlossbert (Caroline Kennedy's son) and how he looks so much like John Kennedy Jr. He's very much interested in climate change and has said he 'aspires to a career in politics". Perhaps you could do a newscope article on this young man and whether his chart has 'presidential potential'.

A. I have Nov 11, 1889 for the state of Washington, set in Olympia, time unknown. Penfield uses 2:27 pm based on his rectification. About “access", all back issues of NewsScope are available, I recently updated the menu where you can find the links. It's difficult to organize them because it makes NeptuneCafe so slow in adding new pages.

re: tax bill - I was looking at chart set for Trump signing tax bill. Is there a special significance to the fact that Saturn and Sun conjunct at 0 degree Capricorn. Just how often can that occur?
A. Yes, it's very rare, and is why I said that it's an empowerment of the corporations, especially since it's in the 10th house. The corporate tax rate was lowered from 35% to 21% - a huge subsidy of American corporations paid for by U.S. taxpayers and an expanded federal debt of $1.5 trillion.

Stormy Daniels’ Birth Time
Thanks to Tony Dickey, the intrepid data sleuth and administrator of Facebook’s Mundane Astrology group, we now have Stormy Daniels' exact birth time, which was relayed via her Twitter account. What this gives astrologers is a much more accurate picture of what’s going on in her life. We can now tell if this sordid affair is a flash in the pan or a national crisis.
These biwheel segments show Trump's natal chart on the inner wheel, with the progressions to July 15, 2006 on the outer wheel. His natal and progressed Lilith were being activated by progressed Mercury and Pluto in the 12th house, and (not shown) transiting Saturn at 11º Leo.
Most importantly, an accurate birth time puts her planets in houses, and pinpoints her Midheaven and Ascendant. At first glance, we can see that her stellium in the 3rd house is about communicating. With her Sun in the 3rd trine Uranus, she’s most interested in freedom of expression. Yet she’s often been challenged in her self-expression, which is evident when we see that Mars in the third opposes Saturn in the 9th house of legal proceedings.
The angles look correct: she sued Trump and was promptly counter-sued over the past two weeks as transiting Mars arrived at her Sagittarius Ascendant. This is the logical astrological signature for a strong self-assertion. The Midheaven’s conditions – both natally and progressed – tell us if this is going anywhere. At the moment, her progressed Midheaven and Uranus are conjunct at 19º Scorpio, which resonates with her fateful desire to freely express herself.
Over the coming year, her progressed Midheaven will conjoin natal Uranus, so this story has legs. The outer planet transits underscore the enduring effects of this incident. Over the next month, transiting Jupiter is retrograding back to conjoin her progressed Midheaven. Also, transiting Pluto is in a long-term sextile to her progressed Midheaven, which gives her support from powerful players on the national scene. Her 60 Minutes interview is scheduled to be aired March 25. Stay tuned….
Yet he lived 55 years longer. How did he do it? Doctors are mystified. Although his soul was trapped in an imperfect physical body, Hawking’s Moon-Neptune conjunction and his 12th house stellium indicate a consciousness that was as much attuned to the collective as his own ego and personal needs. His 12th house Mars is quincunx Neptune, making him a “spiritual warrior”. He died when his progressed Sun was at 4º Aries where it conjoined Eris, also known as a spiritual warrior, and one who thinks outside the box.
Hawking was born with his Capricorn Sun trine Saturn (January 8, 1942; 2:50 pm*; Oxford, UK), a profoundly serious and ambitious combination that brought him success and relative longevity in spite of his handicap. His birth time is unknown, but his consistent intellectual pursuit of the Big Picture suggests that his Jupiter in Gemini is prominent. Putting Jupiter on a Gemini Ascendant would also account for his perpetual optimism.
With Gemini Rising, Mercury becomes the ruler of his chart. It’s located in the 9th house of higher education and publishing – two areas where he became renowned. He published the first edition of A Brief History of Time in 1988 when his progressed Mercury reached his Aquarius Midheaven. Hawking was diagnosed with ALS in 1963 when transiting Saturn reached his Midheaven and opposed his Chiron. He was given two years to live.

Hawking first came to the public’s attention with his groundbreaking book, A Brief History of Time, and ever since, he’s been revered as a celebrity cosmologist specializing in black holes.
On January 12, 2018, The Wall Street Journal broke the story of Trump’s affair with the porn star, revealing that his lawyer paid her $130,000 for her silence. At the time, Trump’s progressed Moon had reached his 12th house Pluto, stirring up this skeleton in his closet. And over this past weekend, as his progressed Moon and progressed Pluto were exactly conjunct, Trump’s legal team has been wrangling to block the 60 Minutes interview with Ms. Daniels.
Trump and Black Moon Lilith
A reader notes: “Previously you spoke of BML in relationship to Trump’s 12th House Natal Pluto-Progressed Moon conjunction. Do you see Stormy Daniels as the personification of Lilith?” First, note that Trump’s Lilith in Sagittarius squares his Leo Ascendant, so Lilith has an influence on all his personal relationships. But then Lilith’s trine to his 12th house Pluto shows the more clandestine affairs.
Astrologers who deploy Lilith in horoscopes sometimes refer to her as the “un-Moon” because she tends to be the opposite of the caring, nurturing, sentimental Moon archetype. She can also be antithetical to Juno, the marriage asteroid, because a prominent Lilith tends to act spontaneously when sexual feelings are aroused. Those who play out Juno’s urge to form a committed, long-term relationship and who also have a prominent Lilith will likely have a troubled marriage.
Trump allegedly met and began a year-long affair with Stormy Daniels around July 15, 2006 at a golf tournament. At the time, his progressed Lilith and Pluto were forming a trine at 11º Sagittarius and 11º Leo, an underlying harmonious set-up that allowed him to enjoy a secret liaison. Transiting Saturn in mid-July 2006 was also at 11º Leo, activating this progressed configuration.
