12 Times 12 by Joan McEvers, is a great resource for zooming in on the horoscope's core message.Each Sun Sign is described twelve different ways according to the twelve possible Ascendants; contains 144 celebrity profiles for each Ascendant and Sun combination. Lots of key phrases and precise interpretations. OoP The Astrology Encyclopedia by James Lewis is a handy, look-it-up dictionary for astrological terms, plus many extended essays on the most important branches of astrology. You'll find brief passages on famous astrologers, and hundreds of asteroids described. Many illustrations and graphics make this a fascinating learning tool. The Astrological Thesaurus by Michael Munkasey presents extended lists of keywords for each of the twelve astrology houses. An introductory chapter to each house is followed by the keywords for that house arranged by category. The categories include horary ideas, things (by far the lengthiest list), psychological qualities, occupation types, places, mundane ideas, parts of the body, gems, animals, and parts of a house. All the keywords are listed alphabetically in the book's second half. OoP |

Brady's Book of Fixed Stars by Bernadette Brady, may become one of the most useful tools in the astrologer's toolbox. This reference will help you decide which stars to use in your interpretations, and how to work with parans, which highlights the stars on the birth chart's angles. Each constellation is accompanied by a chart to locate where the most important stars are at particular latitudes, plus historical mythological development and interpretive meanings. |

The Combination of Stellar Influences by Reinhold Ebertine, consists mainly of a list of all possible planetary pictures (midpoint of two points plus aspecting point) using the standard planets, plus the Ascendant, Midheaven, and Lunar Nodes, and their meanings in mundane and natal charts. Use this book to interpret midpoints aspecting a third planet, or what three planet combinations together mean. OoP The Fixed Stars & Constellations in Astrology by Vivian Robson, is a classic reference first published in 1923, but still the best available for understanding the influences of 108 constellations and 111 bright stars. Many star descriptions include interpretations for alignments with planets; tables show exact longitude, with calculation formulas for tracking current locations. OoP Planets on the Move, The Astrology of Relocation by Maritha Pottenger and Zipporah Dobyns, greatly expands the relocation astrology first popularized by Jim Lewis (A*C*G*) to include planets aspecting the relocation angles. Lists and describes the various possibilities, including asteroids and Chiron. Chapters explaining the theory, case studies, and extended reference on relocated house rulers. Comprehensive, well-organized, and helpful for all relocation questions. |

The Sabian Symbols; A Screen of Prophecy by Diana Roche, introduces the methods and techniques, and historical background for using these symbols channeled by famed astrologer Marc Edmund Jones and his clairvoyant student, Elsie Wheeler. Every Sabian Symbol is described with keywords, an underlying theme, how it can be used today, plus the risks and opportunities attributed to each symbol. |
